Ice Cold

Being stuck on the prairies means that there is one inevitable reality that hits home every winter: frigid temperatures. Today is no different, and the posted thermometer temperature reads as -27 degrees Centigrade. However, because I'm stuck on the prairies, we also get a little sampling of wind to go along with the deep freeze cold, and that only drives the temperature lower. As I sit here between hockey games - played on outdoor ice, mind you - the temperature with the wind is reading as a balmy -38C. Why do we live here?

I won't be home until later, so this will have to suffice for now, but, needless to say, it's ridiculous outside. Whether it's -38C or -36F, it's colder than cold. We won the first game by a 4-2 score, so we'll see how the cold weather treats us in the second game. Tomorrow, I'll have the You're Wearing That? article posted, so stop by and check out the jerseys!

Until next time, keep your sticks on the ice!
